Extractions of impacted wisdom teeth:An impacted tooth is one which has not grown through the gum into the mouth, or has grown only part way through or is in an abnormal position. Problems that can arise due to an impacted wisdom tooth are: pain, swelling of the gum flap covering the tooth, decay of the wisdom tooth and/or the tooth next of it, formation of a cyst if the tooth has failed to erupt. In certain cases, we may need to refer you to an oral surgeon.

Intravenous Sedation :

For patients who are nervous to undergo dental treatment, we offer IV sedation. It involves a small injection of sedative in the patient’s arm. It puts the patient into a calm restful state, similar to sleep, but the patient is still conscious .Post sedation the patient normally has little memory of the treatment procedure.

Implants are an excellent option for replacing one or more teeth. They look and feel almost similar to your natural teeth. Implants can also be used to hold dentures in place.

The procedure involves 2 steps: implant placement and implant restoration. The first step involves placing a titanium or titanium alloy implant and the implant is left to fuse with the jaw bones. The second step is fitting the replica tooth/crown to the implant. In case of dentures, the second step involves fitting the dentures to implants.
